The Science Behind It’s SuccessThe concept is based on Newton’s Law of gravitation. As the plates on the FLABéLOS move up and down at different speeds, your body naturally tries to stabilise. These changes in amplitude and speed increase the impact on the muscles and create more involuntary muscle contractions. The continuous alternating tilting movement results in muscle contractions and generates vibration impulses to your muscles. These impulses travel to the spinal cord along the nerves which control the muscles for balancing. The amount of head shake during exercise is minimised as most of the movement is absorbed in the pelvis. |
How FLABéLOS Works?
The OTO FLABéLOS is really easy to use. Simply stand on the machine, put your feet apart then select your desired programme level. The alternating tilting movement of the platform works continuously through a sequence of vibration levels during a 10 minute session. The OTO FLABéLOS employs a ‘pivotal’ system that oscillates just like the action of a seesaw. This sends out a fast sequence of vibrations specifically designed to trigger and stimulate muscle walls. The further apart you position your feet (or hands) the greater the force transmitted through your body. |
